Nokia Lumia 525

The world's most popular Windows Phone recently got a new refreshed version, the Nokia Lumia 525.

Let us have a look at it's tech specs:
The device is 2G-3G-WiFi ready and supports micro-SIM card. It has a 4" IPS LCD capacitive display which supports upto 16M colors and has a resolution of 480x800 pixels. For protection, it has a scratch resistance glass which supports multi-touch. The touch screen used in this device is Super-sensitive which can be used easily with gloves. The phone has the internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded upto 64GB with the help of microSD card. For photography, the phone has a 5MP primary camera without flash and the secondary camera is  missing. The primary camera can record videos at HD resolution (720p@30fps).
The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 Black OS. It has a Qualcomm MSM8227 chipset clocked at 1 GHz (Dual Core). For gaming, it has a Aderno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Review Time:
The phone look exactly like it's predecessor Nokia Lumia 520. The only difference between these two devices is that the Lumia 520 has 512MB RAM whereas it's successor has 1GB RAM. The benefit of 1GB RAM is that it can run some apps and games extra as compared to it's predecessor. The  camera is as good as Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Camera is just incredible. The phone's battery backup is also decent and the gaming experience is satisfactory. Another great feature of this device is it's Super-sensitive touchscreen which can be used even with long nails and gloves. The display performance is also decent. The sunlight readability is disappointing.

Having said all this now it's time for verdict:
I really like all the Lumia devices because they never disappoint. The Windows Phone ecosystem is expanding but has limited apps to look forward. The best competitor of this phone is Motorola Moto G. That device is loaded with features and comes in Dual-SIM option. So my verdict is go for this iff you can survive with limited apps. I will give still give it 4 out of 5.
