This is the review of a Micromax phablet, Micromax Canvas Doodle 2.

Let us look at the tech specs of the device:-
The phablet is 2G-3G-WiFi ready with Dual SIM slots. It has a 5.7'' display which supports 720x1280 pixels resolution and 16M colors. The pixel density is although average. The internal memory of the phone 16GB with no scope for expansion. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. For photography, the phablet has 12MP primary camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash. It is capable of recording videos at 1080p. The secondary camera is equal to the primary camera of Nokia Lumia 520, i.e., 5MP.

Now coming to the internals of the device:-
The phablet runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. It has a 'Mediatek MT6589' chipset and CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz which is a quad-core processor. For handling graphics, it has 'PowerVR SGX544' GPU. For handling multi-tasking, it has 1GB RAM. The sensors present is this phablet are Accelerometer and proximity. A 2600 mAh Li-ion provides juice to this phablet.

Review:-
The screen size of this phone is quite big. I really find it weird and uncomfortable to carry this big device. This is the first problem I faced with it. Another problem which I faced is below average camera. The primary camera performs bad in low-light conditions. The secondary camera is also poor. The screen looks good on paper and it's actually it is also average.
The built quality is quite impressive. The back panel has a metal coating which gives it a premium feel. It is quite sleek and looks stylish. The company has provided a stylus with this phablet but there is no place to keep it in the device like Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The phone can handle multi-task at ease. Another limitation is non-expandable memory. The battery backup of this phablet is also average.

Verdict:-
I don't find it worthy to buy this phablet. The only positive thing which I liked is it's price. If you like big screen device, then consider this one. The competitor of this phone in Indian market is Xolo Q2000. I will rate it 3 out of 5 just for it's price and looks.
