Samsung Galaxy E7

The brand which redefined our way of using a mobile phone. The brand which was amongst the first few companies who introduced Android smartphones and changed everything. Samsung worked really hard to achieve everything so far.
To keep up with the pace of the growing industry, the South Korean giant introduced the new E-series smartphones. This is the review of the Galaxy E7.

Tech Specs:
Samsung Galaxy E7 is a Dual SIM smartphone which supports both 2G and 3G network. It has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with capacitive touchscreen. The display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and supports 16M colours. The screen has pixel count of 267 ppi and also supports multi-touch.

For photography, the device comes with a 13 MP primary camera unit which has auto-focus and built-in LED flash. A 5 MP secondary camera is also present for clicking selfies. The primary camera can record videos at 1080p resolution. The connectivity options available in the smartphone are Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, microUSB 2.0 and Wi-Fi.

The phone runs of the Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). It packs a Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 Quad-core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz. A combination of 2 GB RAM makes it even better. An Adreno 306 GPU is also present for better gaming experience. The phone has 16 GB of internal storage which could be expanded up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card. It has a 2950 mAh Li-ion power house. Though, the battery is non removable due to its sleek body.

Review:
The Galaxy E7 carries the similar look and design as other Galaxy family members. Though, it’s sleek and unibody design makes it more manageable. The phone supports both GSM and UMTS network but lacks LTE support, which is a disadvantage. The display is one of the attractions. It uses one of the world’s best displays, the Super AMOLED. The display resolution is also acceptable with a decent pixel count.

The performance of both the cameras is simply brilliant. The primary camera can record videos in Full HD resolution and capable of clicking some amazing shots, even in low light conditions. The secondary camera is meant for clicking selfies and carries its job really well.

The performance of this device is quite decent. The combination of a 64-bit processor and 2 GB RAM execute tasks with ease. There are very few to no multi-tasking issues, which make it even more considerable. The battery life is also decent enough, keeping in mind the big 5.5 inch touchscreen.

Verdict:
Overall, the Galaxy E7 is a good performer. Its unibody design and sleek body makes it handy. The major disadvantage in this device is the absence of memory card slot. Hold on! I have mentioned earlier that it supports memory card. YES, the phone supports memory card only if you don’t use the second SIM card. The memory card uses the same slot which is used by the SIM card. So, you could either use a second SIM card or memory card. The non-removable battery can be another disadvantage but not as fatal as this one.

I will rate it 4 out of 5 for its performance, design, camera and display. I will recommend it to you, if you don’t use a second SIM or don’t need much space. Otherwise, you have many other options available.
