Moto E

Motorola have seen some great rise and falls in the global market but at the end emerged as a strong player. After two amazing smartphones, Motorola recently announced their third budget smartphone, the Moto E.

Let us have a look at the Tech Specs of this cool device:
Moto E is a Dual SIM device and is 2G-3G-WiFi ready. It has a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen which has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The display can support 16M colours and has the pixel density of 256ppi. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 provides the necessary protection to the display. For  Connectivity, it has Bluetooth v4.0 ( Low Energy) and microUSB v2.0 slot. For Photography, the device has a 5MP primary camera without flash while the secondary camera is absent.
The smartphone runs on the latest version of Android, i.e., Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). It has a Qualcomm  Snapdragon 200 Dual-Core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz for performance and Adreno 302 GPU for handling graphics. For multitasking, it has 1GB RAM which is sufficient. The internal storage of this smartphone is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. A 1980mAh non-removable battery provides juice for it's all day long backup.

Review:
I am impressed with Motorola's thinking and strategy. They are really heating up the competition in the Indian market. Moto E is a simple looking device with great expectations and I don't think that it will disappoint.
The display of this smartphone is impressive. Although, it's not an HD display but you can't complain at this price point. Now if we talk about the Camera, then I must say that I am not really impressed with it. It's a 5MP shooter but the photo quality is below average. Motorola really needs to work harder on it. As we have already seen that the camera on Moto G is also not very impressive.
The device comes with the latest version of Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) which is lag free and amazing. The overall performance of Moto E is impressive. The GPU is outdated but that's also smooth and lag free. The battery backup is also satisfactory and you cannot demand for better.

Verdict:
The phone is just awesome. I know many of you will think that it's not a performance beast then Why I am saying so?
Okay, let me make it clear now. This device is available for just 6999 INR and it is offering you the latest version of Android OS and good performance. Motorola is also promising one major Android update in near future, so this device is also future secured. There are just two cons with this phone:
1. The Camera
2. Limited Internal Storage
Otherwise, I think that it's the best device available in the Indian market at this price point. I will rate it 4 out of 5.
