Moto G 2014

The Indian market is one of the most rapidly growing Tele-communication Hubs. This is the reason why every major producer is launching some very amazing devices in the sub-continent. These devices are not only pocket-friendly but also ensure high grade performance. The Motorola Mobility, which is now owned by Lenovo, has recently launched an upgraded version of their most successful device- The Moto G. They named it as Moto G (2014).

Review:
The Moto G (2014) looks quite similar to the Moto G but with different screen size. The phone looks very beautiful with 2 front speakers like the HTC devices. The display is above average with HD resolution and decent pixel density. The best part of the device is the microSD card slot. The memory can now be expanded further which makes it great value for money.
The camera performance of Moto G (2014) is average. Motorola have increased the Mega-pixel but it still can’t record videos at FHD. This is a major disadvantage. The performance of the secondary camera unit is also average.
The phone runs on the latest version of Android, i.e. Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). The best part here is the guaranteed update direct from Google. The stock UI of Android looks very gorgeous with Google Now support. The performance of the device is very smooth and almost lag-free. The high-end games runs well but the graphics are not very great and actually it’s unfair to demand for more at the given price point.

Verdict:
The Moto G (2014) is an amazing device. It is exclusively available on India’s largest e-commerce website. The competitors of this device are the Xiaomi Mi 3, which is also available on the same e-commerce website. The supply chain of Xiaomi is still very weak and that’s the positive thing for Motorola. Another competitor is the Sony Xperia E3.
But keeping in mind the performance of Moto G (2014) and its competition, I will rate it 4.5 out of 5.
