Samsung Galaxy Core

Hey Friends,
There are many competitors for Samsung in Indian market like Sony, Micromax, Xolo, Nokia, HTC and many more but Samsung is still leading. This time I will review 'Samsung Galaxy Core'.

Let us look at the tech specs before starting the review:-
This devices has a 4.3 inches display with 217 ppi density and 480 x 800 pixels of screen resolution. A good capacitive touchscreen which supports 16M colors. This device is 3G-WiFi ready and also comes in dual-SIM option. It has got 8 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM. For connectivity it has Bluetooth 3.0 and microUSB port 2.0. For photography, it has a 5MP autofocus primary camera and VGA secondary camera. Although, the primary camera cannot record videos at 720p. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and has 'Snapdragon MSM8225 S4 Play' chipset and a Dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU. For handling gaming graphics it has 'Aderno 203' GPU. This device is FM radio enabled and also have Accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass. To handle all this it has a 1800 mAh battery.

I am not really happy with this device-decent screen, camera quality is fine but it does not support HD recording. The screen performance is average under sunlight. The touchscreen is quite responsive but do you think it's fine? The camera quality is good but video recording disappoints alot. Sadly, only about 4.5 GB user memory available. Like many Android devices it also hangs and disappoints. The internet speed is also slow as compared to other devices (only 7.2 Mbps). The processor on the other hand is good and the RAM is also sufficient. Gaming experience on this device is also average and battery backup is decent enough.

So now it's time for conclusion:-
It's an average device with just an average specifications. My verdict is, just consider this device if you are looking for a smartphone. If you are not brand-conscious then I would say that consider Xolo Q800 or Q1000 OR Sony Xperia M. I will rate it 3.5/5 overall.
