Nokia Lumia 1320
The big-screen devices are all rage nowadays. Every company have their big-screen "Phablets" available in the market. Only few companies like Nokia and Apple were left.
But recently, Nokia also launched their "Phablets" in the market i.e., Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320.
Let us have a look at the tech specs of the device:
The phablet have 2G-3G-4G-WiFi connectivity options and supports Micro-SIM card. It has a 6 inch IPS display with capacitive touchscreen which supports 16M colors with HD resolution (sadly not Full HD). Other features of this display are Nokia ClearBlack technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The internal memory of this phone is 8GB which can be expanded upto 64GB with the help of microSD card. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and microUSB v2.0.
For photography, this phone has a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and front VGA camera. The primary camera have the capability to record videos at 1080p resolution.
The phablet runs on Windows Phone 8 Black OS and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset with 1.7Ghz Dual-Core CPU. For gaming, it has Adreno 305 GPU. For other features of this device are accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass and FM Radio. The battery size of this phablet is impressive. It sport a 3400 mAh battery.
Review Time:
The phone looks decent and the built quality is also good but the only disadvantage is it's size. It is really difficult to carry this device because of it's large screen size. Another disadvantage is the screen is not full HD but still has a decent resolution and good viewing angles. The Nokia ClearBlack technology also enhances the performance of the display.
The camera of this device is also decent. A 5MP camera which is capable to record videos at FHD resolution. The secondary camera is average but that's fine.
Microsoft Windows Phone 8 is currently under development and it's expanding day by day. The performance of this device is impressive. The gaming experience is also decent but the extra-ordinary feature is it's battery size. It has a power bank of 3400 mAh. This much power capacity is insane!. lol.
Verdict:
The only reason for me to not choose this device is it's big screen size. But for most of you it's a positive point. The competitor for this device is Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. If we compare this phablet with Grand 2 then surely Grand 2 will loose. The camera quality of Grand 2 is better than Nokia Lumia 1320 but the options like 4G and excellent battery life seems to be more necessary.
So I will not get into any type of war between these two devices. I will leave the decision on you whether you choose a Windows Phone 8 over Android or vice-versa.
For it's great design and built quality and more over it's battery life, I will rate it 4 out of 5.
